Product Abstract: From the flowering tops and stalks of a shrub native to the Mediterranean, but also cultivated in England, North America, North Africa, Australia, and Europe. In the Greek and Roman times, lavender was used in wash water to provide a pleasant aroma, and in the medieval times by physicians to treat all types of ailments, including palsy, head live, migraines, epilepsy, fainting, panting, colds, and bites. During the Second World War, it was used to help disinfect wounds and help with healing. Today through aromatherapy, among other uses, it helps with anxiety, sleep issues, improving the feeling of well-being, and mental alertness, suppress aggression, and treat stress, headaches, and muscle pain.
